Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly: email address, voice recordings, typed recaps, and industry selection. We also collect usage data including timestamps and feature interaction patterns.

Your data is used exclusively to provide the TalkRecap service: transcribing audio, generating business outputs, and improving our AI models. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices including Row Level Security to isolate your data from other users.

Voice recordings and text are processed through OpenAI's API services. OpenAI does not use your data to train models. API processing is governed by OpenAI's data usage policies.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use a cookie to remember your theme preference (light/dark). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Preferences page for details.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may also export your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

We use Supabase for database and authentication, and OpenAI for AI processing. These services have their own privacy policies that apply to data they process on our behalf.

TalkRecap is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
