What is TalkRecap?

TalkRecap is a voice-first tool for solo workers. Record a short recap of your workday and we turn it into structured outputs — invoices, work logs, client updates, and more. No typing, no templates.

How does it work?

  1. Pick your industry.
  2. Record a voice recap or type it out.
  3. We process it with AI and generate your outputs.
  4. Copy, share, or save your outputs wherever you need them.

Managing Clients

In the dashboard, go to Clients to manage the people and businesses you work with. You can:

  • Add a client — click “New Client” and fill in their name, email, phone, and notes.
  • Edit a client — click the client, update their info, and save.
  • Delete a client — open the client, scroll to the bottom, and click “Delete client.” This action cannot be undone.
  • See all related recaps — each client’s page shows every recap linked to them, ordered by date.

Linking Recaps to Clients

When creating a new recap, you can optionally choose a client from the dropdown. Once linked, the recap detail page shows the client’s name and email, and the client’s page lists all associated recaps. You can also edit the recap’s title inline by clicking on it in your dashboard timeline.

What industries do you support?

We support 15 solo worker industries including freelancers, contractors, teachers, real estate agents, therapists, personal trainers, photographers, and more. Each gets tailored output formats.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How accurate is the AI?

Our AI generates structured outputs from your voice or text input. While highly accurate, we always recommend reviewing outputs before sending them to clients. You can copy and edit anything that needs adjustment.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. TalkRecap works in any modern browser on both desktop and mobile. The voice recording feature requires microphone access.
